The company Tauros, s.r.o., Polichno 36, 763 41 Luhačovice (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") adheres to all personal data protection principles in its activities, as outlined by the European Parliament and Council of the EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the instructions for data subjects. The main goal of the Company in the field of personal data protection is to ensure coherence and a high level of protection for natural persons, our business partners, so that their data cannot be misused.
For this purpose, the Company has conducted an internal audit, based on which it has implemented appropriate practical measures aimed at further enhancing the protection of customers' personal data, specifically natural persons.
The Company expressly declares that all data obtained from customers is used solely for the internal needs of the Company and is not provided to third parties. Exceptions are external carriers, to whom customers' personal data is transferred in the minimal scope necessary for the smooth delivery of goods. Another exception applies to situations related to distribution or payment transactions concerning ordered goods.
In our business activities, we are always prepared to primarily defend the interests of our customers and business partners to avoid any infringements on their rights, especially in the area of personal data protection. We strictly adhere to the principles of transparency and fairness in processing. We always ensure that all rights of our customers as data subjects are preserved (including the right to be informed, the right to access personal data, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object, or the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling).
- RIGHT OF ACCESS to Personal Data. The data subject may at any time request the Company to confirm whether or not Personal Data concerning them is being processed, or whether automated decision-making, including profiling, is taking place based on the processing of Personal Data. If Personal Data is being processed, the data subject has the right to know for what purpose, to what extent, to whom it is disclosed, how long it will be processed, and whether they have the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or to object. Furthermore, the data subject may request to know where the Company obtained the Personal Data. The data subject has the right to receive a copy of their personal data.
- RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION of Personal Data, meaning that the data subject may request the Company to correct or supplement Personal Data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- RIGHT TO ERASURE of Personal Data means that the Company must delete the data subject's Personal Data if it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, if the data subject withdraws consent and there is no other legal basis for processing, if the data subject objects to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing, or if the processing or erasure is required by law.
- RIGHT TO RESTRICTION of Personal Data processing means that if the data subject makes a request that raises disputable issues regarding the processing of their Personal Data (e.g., accuracy, purpose, or reason for processing), the Company may only store the Personal Data, and further processing is subject to the express consent of the data subject or for the purposes of establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
- RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY means that the data subject has the right to obtain their Personal Data, which they provided to the Company with consent for processing or for contract performance, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and, if technically feasible, has the right to have the Company transfer this data to another controller.
- RIGHT TO OBJECT to the processing of Personal Data means that the data subject may file a written or electronic objection to the Company against the processing of their Personal Data. Upon objection, the Company must cease processing Personal Data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override the interests or rights and freedoms of the data subject.
